Mace Operate Training Proposal

Supporting your bids with excellence, quality delivery and a personal service.

Hobs Training Programme

Following on from our conversation regarding delivering a bid training programme for your team, please find our outline and provisional costings below.

We have taken on your initial thoughts and generated a sample course as a basis for this and future training programmes.

Delivering training for presentations and post tender interviews will be treated as a separate entity, as will be a full day.

Our trainers would require access to your processes, so we can further tailor the course to suit your business needs.

Prior to delivering the programme, we will run through this with you to ensure we have covered everything you require and pick up any changes you wish to make.

Costs for the two sample courses are detailed below:

Bid writing workshop 1-day course - up to 10 people - £5,550

Presentation workshop - up to 6 people - £2,350

Pricing is for course only; any travel & expenses will be charged at face value.

1 Day Workshop- Bid Training Agenda

1 Day Course - Presentation Workshop Agenda

The days would be structured in the following manner, allowing for some “tell” from our trainer, some discussion / debate and most importantly getting the attendees on their feet to put things into practice.

The course is designed, so that each attendee can have plenty of 1:1 coaching and opportunities to practice. I

Ideally we would expect each attendee to bring along a presentation that they had delivered recently, so they have some material that they are familiar with that they can use as practice material.

Topic 1

Understanding your audience, and tailoring your communications to their needs (a top line overview of behaviours and the importance of behaviours in communication)

Topic 2

Setting clear objectives, and measuring success [ this applies to running and managing meetings too]

Topic 3

Structuring effective / impactful presentations – to tell your “story” best

Topic 4

Delivering memorable / impactful presentations. Practical session with all participants involved and being given 1:1 coaching from Hugh. The focus is on implementing the above and communicating with the audience in an impactful, memorable and authentic manner.
